SURI CRUISE WILL NOT BECOME A DESIGNER...FOR NOW!

Katie Holmes says the rumors that said her and Tom Cruise's daughter would be launching a fashion collection are NOT true!

Actress Katie Holmes denied that her 7-year old daughter Suri Cruise would be  launching a fashion collection consisting of clothes, shoes, and accesories for young girls. This was reported by Vogue UK. She confirmed that the rumors that her daughter Suri had signed a £1.5m deal to start a clothing line were not true.

A lot of media have been reporting that Suri "signed" a contract worth 1.5 billion pounds, that would have the seven year old, working alongside her mom and her business partner Jeanne Yang. They both have a fashion line called Holmes & Yang, that has presented collections for two consecutive years at New York Fashion Week.

Holmes and Suri recently moved to Chelsea, a traditional Manhattan neighborhood, one of the oldest in the city, and a great place to go for walks. Suri is attending school, like any "normal" girl would, and that is what her mom wants for her, to lead a "normal" life as much as possible.

According to Vogue UK, who has gone straight to the source, the rumors are not true. I think it is very very good news! because as much as she has been photographed like a celebrity since she was born, Suri is not a designer yet....She is only seven years old. And she deserves to have a childhood. That is what I believe. Children should not "work", no matter what type of work that is...

Since I had to walk the streets of the Garment District a couple of weeks ago, to find Spikes and Studs to fix a shirt for a photo shoot, I have been infatuated with them!

The following days I went for my walks, as usual, and found lots of spikes and studs all over the stores @ Fifth Avenue and Meatpacking District.
